About Chinese medicine

In Chinese medicine, the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of a person all need to be balanced for optimum health and well-being. We are not just a set of separate body parts that sometimes become faulty.

Chinese medicine has understood for thousands of years that the natural flow of the life force in all beings reflects the universal laws of nature for thousands of years. When our body’s life force flows with the natural cycles there is good health. When the flow is blocked or depleted symptoms of imbalance or illness arise.

Chinese medicine provides a system for assessing the whole person to see where these underlying energetic imbalances may be at the root of each condition, causing symptoms. By providing what’s needed to address these imbalances the body is then able to re-establish equilibrium and heal.
